Why the travel date matters
A package booked close to departure may have an immediate or near-term balance date. The £49.99 initial deposit can still apply, but you may need to pay the remainder soon afterwards.
If your plans change
Do not assume that losing the deposit ends your responsibility. Cancellation charges follow the organiser’s scale and may increase as departure approaches. Ask for the current charge before cancelling.
