Rooms, flights and facilities that fit your family

Family holidays

A family-friendly label does not tell you where everyone sleeps or how long the transfer takes. We compare the room plan, children’s ages, flight times, board and useful facilities as one package.

Family holidays inspiration

For parents, carers and extended families travelling with infants, children or teenagers.

Plan the parts that matter

Start with exact ages

Supplier child rules use age on the travel date. Infants, older children and teenagers can affect flight seats, rooms and price differently.

Get the room layout in writing

Check beds, partitions, cots, balconies and maximum occupancy. A family room name alone is not enough.

Value sensible travel times

An awkward flight or long transfer can outweigh a small price difference, especially with infants.

Match facilities to the children

Pool depth, splash areas, clubs and entertainment should suit their ages and operate on your dates.

Straight answers

Questions people ask

What age counts as a child?

Airlines, hotels and organisers use their own rules, often based on age at travel. Give every child’s date of birth for an accurate quote.

Can you guarantee connecting rooms?

Only if the supplier confirms them as part of the booked room description. A request is not a guarantee.

Is all-inclusive best for families?

It can simplify meals and spending, but only when the hotel’s food, service times and facilities suit your family. Self-catering or half board can fit others better.

Can you arrange airport assistance?

Tell us what support is needed before booking. Assistance is arranged with the relevant provider and should be reconfirmed before travel.

Is the family deposit £49.99 each?

The package deposit is £49.99 per person. The organiser’s written quote will confirm how it applies to the named passengers and when the balance is due.
